What is wrong with this scenario

I have a very dear friend and it goes like this..................

You see we are probably both type A personalities.
One Hyper one not so hyper.
Both are stubborn to the core and know what we want.
One is a procrastinator and one is not.
Can you guess which one I am ?

So now comes the scenario

One Year ago she asked me to help her with her blinds, I should have known better! Those day and night shades are lovely until the string breaks and there you are with replacement kit in hand. And what do you do.. call 911 Jane. So we have a whale of a time, taking the blinds apart was an effort - stringing them was interesting. SO after all was said and done it took us an evening. We were enlightened and realized that we could have benefited from taking notes so this year we would be able to refer to them. OHOH.. With the shades anchored on the valance, all restrung we left the tensioning to my friend- that was last year remember?. Well lets just say one year later they sagged as they were left.SO today was the appointed day. Off we went to fix the friends blind, hubby encouraged us by giving us lots of enthusiasm in the go girls dept.

Suddenly a knock at the door, hubby appeared wondering if wife had strangled herself or her friend. Thank GOD!! We were literally tied in knots. The engineering hubby tinkered with precision and the blind was fit and in place, working as if new.

Then it happened as we turned around we saw another blind on it's last leg with one broken string. We were able to reserect it, by tying off one lonely string and re tensioning the blind. Maybe next year it will need to be restrung. Any volunteers???
