Just blooming away

By trial and persistance, we are still experimenting with viable plants
SO far so good, Poinsetta's are out, my resident night time bunny loves to pull off all the leaves!

Here is the unveiling

Mango Lip balm cost of production 5 cents per 2 ounces, all natural product for me by me

Smooth as a baby's butt!

No one warned me it would be this easy!
I finished my quilt in time for the supplies for my adventure arrived.
I got out my corningware and boiled up some water, then in an old corningware cup and a plastic spoon I added the following

> 1 part coconut oil
> 1 part beeswax
> 1 part mango butter

From this I made a lip balm put it into a little "watchmaker tin" and it came out perfectly. The cup works well for both pouring and cleanup

SO now onto the body bar.. Well that needs a little more practice
I used
1/2 part coconut oil
2 part beeswax
1 part mango butter and threw in some honey

It was my first adventure and it turned out well, the only thing is that I think I should have really whipped up the honey in the solution. I poured it into a mold and for a first attempt not bad but the honey seems to cling to the imprint in the top of the mold. So back to the drawing board.....

Here it is the reversible blankey

Yes I am still kicking!

I have been playing around with fabric once again
I will post a pic early next week when all is said and done.
I cut up my leftover batting in 6 X 6 " squares and now I have a project for them
I took all of my scraps from the last couple of quilts and stiched them to the batting , with the 2" wide strips I am quilting as I go.

I have 54 squares now. I have assembled them into some sort of pattern and another day I will stitch them together. Once done I only have to apply a backing and that is no hardship. I have collected some remnant fabric from my favorite craft store and as a result I will have a flashy backing

SO check in on Monday and see what I have accomplished, I am in too much mischief to donate all my time to the cause, so therefore taking off this crafting for a day or two

One man's trash..............

This is what I found on my daily ritual to " la boutique" in the RV park.
Just a little dusty but it will go nicely into my rv bathroom , I do have a small cabinet
But this will be a welcomed treasure.

Onward hoe.......... hubby has his marching orders. I did my part of dust and scrub now over to him!~

My neighbor is still trying to keep me quiet with this little number. I successfully completed it and had a little yarn left over

One of the neighbors thought

They could keep me out of mischief by donating a few pounds of yarn
This crocheted up in lickity split time- about 25 hours
Queens sized to keep one cozy!
