This is a Photo showing some of the sports offered at Holiday Travel Resort our home away from home. We find that there are many clubs to entice the residents and Rvers who visit Holiday Travel Resort in Leesburg, Fl. From carving to quilting, baseball to volleyball they have it all. If your passion is swimming there are two pools one hot tub to drown your sorrows away. Advertised as an adult park there are many interest groups to keep us fit and young at heart.
Soon we too will be at HTR. So mark your calenders as the Low's make their pre-winter treck

Brigantine low tide

This is the beach right outside of our timeshare, It is the south shore of Brigantine , which is a tiny island connected to Atlantic City via tunnel and bridge. The island is clsoe to being deerted after Labor Day as it is mainly a tourist spot. Most of the people on the beach here are the fultimers- which are few. A lot of the stores on this island will close this week as tourist season is over.

The houses are opulent and most are 3 story and 5 bedroom and that is with an elevator no less!! There are a few small homes remanents of the time when Brigantine was a Outlook during the war. These houses will not last for too much longer as they are being eaten up by developers and sold for a high price with a custom home. I am glad I don't have their taxes!!

Tropical storm and calm waters

I spent a week in beautiful Brigantine Beach by the sea. With temperatures in the mid 80's and a few rough waves and strong winds it was a break from the cool fall weather that will soon be upon us. While at the Brigantine Is. we visited the Atlantic City Aquarium, Art and Historical Museum followed by a trip to Absecon and the historic village at Smithville

Hide tide of Summer

We have a lovely older Pontoon boat that has provided us with many hours of enjoyment. Unfortunately with all this wet weather we have been unable to float our boat. Hoping that the rough water and rain subsides so we can float our boat down the mighty Ottawa River
