Need I say more!

Last minute project

A friend of the daughter produced a baby and the rush is on. I quickly put this little flannel blanket together with cotton batting in between the layers. I longarmed it with a simple large stipple, made the borders from the backing fabric, and created a label for babs. The gift will make it's way to Winnipeg on Tues!

I got distracted

So I now have a Murphy bed in my room, I managed to get it all packed with my sewing, quilting and embroidery supplies. Can you see the one empty door on the bottom left I also have one cupboard on top that is empty , I don't think it will last them long before getting full. I am not putting my sewing machines in there as they are a tad heavy. Now I can have guests and sew in the same room. I am so glad that I spent 2 years looking for this, The previous owner had it a short time and used it twice and paid $2400 I paid $700.

So now to get my longarm back in place, It might be a few days we have managed to tear that frame apart and hope to get that rebuilt in a short while and maybe a little steadier base. SO for now I am knitting as I can't sew or quilt. At least today I can find where my stash is, I had it in piles all over the place!

I like to teach them young

But apparently Theodore got the message that the Queen was coming with her white glove. Oh I love an enthusiastic student..And here he is a real self starter.

Withdrawal and all

Here I am in limbo. My sewing room that was spotless is soon to be mussed up in no uncertain way!
I have purchased a large Murphy bed and it will adorn one wall, Now what is one to do?? I am going to have to move my quilting frame a few feet forward to get this monstrosity into place. Then I will have more time to rearrange other components of the room.

My life as I know it on hold, we will pick up the unit mid week and then play, after which I go to MB for a week to visit Jennifer and the family. I wonder how my room will look when I return and what my hubby will have rearranged and ditched. LOL

Upward and onward as they say! My new unit looks like this but it has another storage tower. Lets see how much fabric I can hide!

Take 2 or is that 1

Some little fellow is having a very important birthday and needs a shirt, For the love of Pete I could not find a plain white one anywhere in Ottawa so I made a little one just for Mr . Ted, He has two just incase one gets smeared with cake . You need to look snappy on your birthday

Whilst battling the plague

The daughter told me the baby needs a 1st birthday shirt so I concocted this , of course it is a prototype and the next will be perfect, But of course I have to get approval from the little ones MOMMY.

I haven't logged in much because Ben and I are still under the weather we hope for a miracle cure next week, Does anyone know a good Nurse?
