As you can see I have a tiny garden

I have dug out all the grass and planting away , I have a magnificent Magnolia tree that is busting out. I have loads of little plants coming into bloom and hopefully tomorrow I will  get to play in it and smear my wood chips. Hold on it is going to be a small but generously enriched garden. Can't wait for things to come to a full head and propogate!

Day of shirts

 Well we couldn't go without making birthday shirts for a Little boy soon to be 5. Each birthday he receives a special shirt. ( 5th birthday and Mickey Mouse).

That leaves the little sister and she too needs to be clothed so we will also get two new shirts  ( bunny and sheep).

I am not sure at their age they are impressed but the parents know that Nanny always has something on the go..

What was I thinking!!!

Oh brother. I couldn't help myself and got a great deal on a bobbin lace roller pillow

 Look what I found on the back side. BOBBINS and I was not expecting them.

 I have a flat pillow I made myself and look at what I am working on , thus the heading. WHAT was I THINKING. Do you know how long this is going to take me? Do you see the itsy bitsy design and with metallic thread. I just had to give it a go , you know how much I love a challenge

It is a Process People

 And it all begins here. I rented a spinning wheel for the winter and spun away .

Soon I had two balls of yarn .

Then I double plied them to make a skein. Afterwhich I washed and dried the yarn to set the spin.

Now all I have to do is knit it up but in the mean time I have all this fleece looking at me so it might be awhile!
