Finally

There may be hope of a cooler weather spat.

The rain came in torrents

Where has my 300 feet of beach gone

Do you see that little spec out in the river? That is our pontoon way way way out there. It was floating in about 4"of water but as of now it is over my knee

And the lady said

Lets make a deal I thought that she was kidding.
I stopped at a few nurseries, and then Canadian Tire where I got the best deals and plants for $2
Of course the 2$ are not in bloom but that is ok there is always next year.. I needed some color so I have cone flowers, black eyed Susans foxglove and clematis, the others are in a resting state of some sort, At least it spruced up the greenery a little!

Finally something for me to keep

I could not find a waffle weave PLAIN towel finally I got a pair and they are all mine I fired up my machine and this is what I got.. For once I get to keep what I make LOL who knows I may find another pair. Can't beat waffle weave for towels - well that is if you can find them

You may remember this quilt top

I had made it in the south this past winter and now getting onto business. It is about 80 X 90". I don't have time to work on it in long stretches so I am dividing my time. My intention is to complete the meander on the main body. I will complete this by week's end I hope.

After this I want to stitch some borders and will have to do these separately on the frame and attach to the quilt with my sewing machine. I have already chosen the design and if I don't muck it up think it will be quite swank.

Once completed the quilt will need a label and a fancy label at that! Yes it is hard being competitive with yourself I try to create something different each time, pushing the bar just a smidge to keep me on edge.

Stay tuned as I continue on my journey
