Nicely done Jane! Are those blocks panels or applique?
The quilt is kit a friend gave me. There are three creme coloured strips about 16" wide. Each has 6 raw edge appliques that are approx. 8" square. To make these I fused a double sided web to one side. Folded in quarters and cut out a design similar to making paper snowflakes. I then ironed these in place with the fusible stabilzer. Once adhered I stitched them in place on all edges with monofilament thread in the top and fine thread in the bobbin. The diamonds were pieces and the borders were too short , luckily I had some complimentary fabric that helped with the lack of border fabric. This was to be a wallhanging by design it now measures 80 X 90. I quilted the body of the quilt with a simple meander, the outer edge has a more traditional quilted pattern with a corner piece added in all four corners. It worked out very well except I have to practice a bit more on nesting in the corner units. On another note I also found that the sheet I used on the back was a few inches too short, And I measured on well. I successfully added the extestion while on the frame easy peasy and now you and I are the only ones that know, LOL . I just need to bind and label
