Just scrapping around

SO this is my newest creation. It is a muslin 8 X8 square. I have topstitched some scraps onto the square so it looks like flower. They will fray to the stitching line I have placed on each applique, Once washed the flower petals will fray and curl giving it a worn but rustic look. I will take this quilt top home and quilt it on my frame, with an ivory thread, The plain squares I will put on a flower maybe a big dahlia. I will have to see what inspiration takes hold. The trim is also scrap and misfits of fabrics.

This production will fit a twin bed easily and will soon for ready for some little girl!
