More practice

This is fingerling weight single.
The corriedale was a gift for a friend who doesn't spin

Who doesn't like soup

I made these for teacher gifts

It is ok you can laugh

Bought a dress and copied the pattern
I haven't sewn on stretchy material before.

This was a tryout of my pattern and sewing.

Not too shabby. Friend gave me fabric.

Keep on Crafting

What happens when the embroidery machine eats the towel.
You end up digging through your stash for a save.

Of course there are always occasions on the horizon from Xmas to birthday gifts

I am not sure who this is for

I think it isn’t perfect but pretty in all it’s purple and lavender hues. I am going to use it for the spare bedroom.

My house has no traditional blankets but I do have an abundance of quilts.  I will get to this later in the week. It is resting for now. All pressed and ready to go!

I am going to take a slight detour

From quilting  and dye some home spun raw Merino. It is staring me in the eye. A neighbour gave me a large spaghetti pot and I will try my hand at using good colouring and see what happens. Stay tuned.

Inundated with quilt tops

I have a backlog. From the bottom two peachy quilts and birth announcements for twins.

The top and third quilt would be for a twin bed the quilt pattern is chisel and the top stitching  is bubbles.

The beach theme quilt is a baby quilt that I top stitched over the appliqué in a flip flop pattern . The appliqué was cut on an AccuQuilt cutter that I have many dyes for.

So glad to be back
