Mutt and Jeff Aprons

The adult aprons says Calories Schmalories the little one says WHIP IT!

I guess it is too late for me

But here is a tutu I made. One elastic headband 2 shower puffs taken apart and split and tied onto the headband. Just perfect for a 1 year old!

Everyone needs a Princess Hat

At some point I need to make a TUTU for this little shirt and Tiara Set, I am busy as a beaver, knitting, and reading and embroidering and cutting out another quilt. I have a rhythm, I read three chapters, then 5 rows of knitting, hop onto my quilting and embroidering and hopefully get back to the book and the knitting. Slowly but surely everything is on track as I expect it and meeting deadlines!

A few more things

The picture above is a free standing lace bowl. It is nothing but thread that I stitched onto a stabilizer , then washed the stabilizer out and shaped. It will hold that shape until it is destroyed. Heck it may outlive me!

Remember that old quilting frame Ben made up ? I did a scrappy quilt and I am so out of practice but this has lots of swoops, loops and butterflies and a few flowers, Yep it is scrappy that is for sure, it will be a good lap quilt

Every one needs a Tiara

Look very closely and you will see the topper of the Tiara- I hot glued it to a headband

The charity group here called Handy Helpers make afghans, and bears to give to the kids in the cancer camp, SO I grabbed some of their unwanted yarn. All I have to do is the last little bit of blue tones.

Update, So there is a craft fair here and what do I spy - Yes my afghan is for sale as a fund raiser

How many Quilts in a day

https://www.quiltfest.com/upcoming-shows-and-events/world-quilt-florida-2/

I was lucky to attend a World Quilt Show, in Orlando  with some friends. Unfortunately some of my photo's are not that great, I am hoping SOMEONE takes the hint and buys me a swanky camera!

There were many quilts of all sizes some were pieced and others were a lot of thread art. I have chosen a little variety to show you . So much inspiration so little time. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of the more tapestry like quilts- not that I did not like them but I couldn't get a clear shot!!

I am so busy there is little time for me to get caught up

SO planning ahead I have Ted's 3rd birthday outfit done

I need to clip a few more threads and then I am off to the races. I must get things under control and just when I do I come up with another great idea!

Finally the quilt is done

I made the top months ago and no time to put it together but thought it would be a good thing to do while in the south so here it is

I was sent a photo and asked to make a quilt - it turned out 45 X 80. I had to use all recycled material. the backing was from a duvet cover, the flowers were appliques that I reversed to get a softer color rather than the vibrant red. I did a lot of thread painting ( that I had no idea if I was doing it correctly ) it all turned out in the end, but I had a wee bit of an after thought. Why did I make it the size it is?? I will turn it on end and hang in in my hallway
