My wrists are a little sore from binding the quilts but I love the hand finishing.
Ben got out of his chair long enough for me to throw on the quilt and take a picture
the quilt is actually gold and green fabrics . It is a little hard to tell, in the photos

Charity quilts
I had a lot of black grey and speckled scraps and here they are.
I top stitched 2 pattern - one in the body called Allouette and one on the top border called wave. The stitching may look hazardy but the reason is that I have a variegated top and bottom thread so as you know they don't all start off at the same point so it may be white up top and black on the bottom, the stitching on the top side of the quilt looks quite good.
And after all that look how square my quilt is, border this afternoon
And here it is with the binding!
