On bended knee.. FINALLY !

Well today the old fellar I live with put a new floor into the tent trailer. He was down on his hands and knees and I was the pretty supervisor! Even when we got engaged he did not get down on one knee so many years later I finally got him in the right position and handed him sticky back tiles. Lucky for me the tiles were 70% off because they were to be discontinued, and better yet they matched the decor- I was going for cheap and did not realize till we put them down they matched with every thing!

The last of the pink

It all started with my pink yarn. I had this big ball and I kept trying to sue it up. Finally it worked one dress, one sweater and blanket latter!

One flew over the raspberry bush

It has been a few days since I last checked in on my raspberries, low and behold there were a lot ripe at one time. Some whole some half eaten. The nerve of those birdies, just a nip here a nip there. I was able to pick a pint to throw into my morning smoothie, yum yum. Didn't you know i was a fruity gal afterall?

On the road again - LAHDIDADADA

This is a pic of our new to us digs, we have a queen size and double size bed.
An ice box, and now a fridge, a sink with a proper tap- no pumper for us.
Although it lacks a furnace the little space heater will do- don't tell anyone i have the electric blanket..
The curtains and foam and covers are all in top order, so that is easy for me. Then again I will have to find something to play with. Yes you are right it requires a trip to Fabricland

You can never have enough room in the fridge

I was out and about and saw an old bar fridge, I cant describe it very well. Try to envision the freezer full of beer cans and specks of black,grey and green grundge. Yep you got it I brought it home.

I got out the hot water, soap and chlorine and away I went. Looks brand new now,I wish i had taken before and after picks. Our new to us tent trailer only has an ice box, now i have a real fridge, but tiny. AND I DID NOT SPEND A CENT!!

Just before you ask- Yes I did plug it in and check first to see that it worked

It all started when

I wanted to finish up a ball of yarn. First the sweater now the blanket and egads there is more I can feel another knitting project coming on. Ben's grand daughter was born earlier this week so it will give me lots of practice

Last BABY arrived yesterday

Ben is proud grand dad of little Katherine daughter of Julia Low and Justin Varney. The girls are outnumbering the boys now 2 to 1

Fancy Footwork

I escaped all my my lonesome with no supervision and what did I do ?
Looky Looky!!
I went to the dentist with a slight detour
I saw the sign for pedicures- come right up........and I did no hubby in site
I got into the comfy massage chair, reclined, watched cnn and read magazines and for an hour and 1/2 I sat still in one spot! Now that the nails are all prettied up how do i get my sandals off without having them scrape up my nails. Hmm perhaps I will sleep with them on, Now wouldn't I be fashionable!

Happy Happy Canada Day

Hello there it is a muggy day here in Constance Bay,Canada. We had a flotilla in the bay and there were only 3 boats this year but they were loaded with folks. As it looks as if it will storm there are not many on the river.

We went for a long walk on the beach and have just come in and put the ac on to get rid of the humidity. Sticky it is. Turns out to be a lazy day with sitting put in the solarium as the clouds roll in. We just made it home in time, now a third shower of the day.
