This is the beach right outside of our timeshare, It is the south shore of Brigantine , which is a tiny island connected to Atlantic City via tunnel and bridge. The island is clsoe to being deerted after Labor Day as it is mainly a tourist spot. Most of the people on the beach here are the fultimers- which are few. A lot of the stores on this island will close this week as tourist season is over.
The houses are opulent and most are 3 story and 5 bedroom and that is with an elevator no less!! There are a few small homes remanents of the time when Brigantine was a Outlook during the war. These houses will not last for too much longer as they are being eaten up by developers and sold for a high price with a custom home. I am glad I don't have their taxes!!

Tropical storm and calm waters
I spent a week in beautiful Brigantine Beach by the sea. With temperatures in the mid 80's and a few rough waves and strong winds it was a break from the cool fall weather that will soon be upon us. While at the Brigantine Is. we visited the Atlantic City Aquarium, Art and Historical Museum followed by a trip to Absecon and the historic village at Smithville
