Knobby knees
I managed to have a sore right knee and visited my local rachet guy.
In order to perform the correct treatment I was in for an evaluation.
Now my physio is a nice person with a warped sense of humor.
He had me twist and turn my leg, squat and all sorts of movements that would bring one to tears. But not until I laid on my stomach and he tried to push the lower leg down to bend my knee. NOTICE that I told him on admission that I was incapable of bending my knee to any extent. Of course I yelped, help back on all profanities..
yep we know that I am alive!
After some pulling and prodding he decided to perform his physical therapy techniques on my knee. Rittled with arthritis ( what is new!) and a pulled tendon he gave me some homework of two exercises, one resistance training and the other squeezing a pillow between two knees. To settled the swelling he decided to attach me to 4 suction cups all surrounding the inflamed knee, turned on the juice until my toes tingled and then let it rip., After 14 minutes the tingling in my foot stopped and the knee felt sort of relaxed. Not to get too comfy yet he applied some Ultra sound massage.
My knee is still a little wonky, probably due to old age. The training sessions will take place a little longer. But I can tell you one thing there will be no marathon running for me.

Time for MOM to get organized
I am working away and it is so hard to guess how it will turn out so I had to print up a sample. Soon I will have to print up the real thing after I do a little tweeking.

Well rested and raring to go!
Today I took a gift to me out of the box. Sounds ominous u have no idea!
I purchased a pontoon boat cover in the USA for 1/4 of what it is in Ontario
I have now customized it to our boat. In order to do so I needed to slash along
each side to provide an opening to skirt around the roof supports as this cover was made to drape over the boat, Thus we have a custom cover. We draped it on and it fit like a glove. Tomorrow Ben has the job of fitting through the cording that I had to displace to do my handy work. Upon further study Ben decided he wants to anchor the cover to the deck rather than the strapping provided, which makes sense. Who wants to try to lash a cover onto a boat that is bobbing in the wind as you try to thread the webbing around the pontoons.
SO the question is while he does that what will I get into???

That is it !!
Holiday is over back to work
I am clearing out a room of all clutter or at least trading it for another
Boxes of rubbermaid filled with kiddie toys for a kiddy that will be soon pushing thirty. They now sit in the middle of the floor waiting to go to the garage and be placed into storage up top in the rafters where they will have a new resting spot.
A horse blanket holder is packaged and waiting for me to place a shipping label on it on Monday when it will make it's way to it's western destination.
Quilts on the frame waiting to be embellished, and wedding attire and trinkets packed in an orderly fashion to be taken to Toronto in a few short weeks.
Finally after all that fuss I may once again see the floor of the room!
The lawn is calling me, after Ben spent many hours racking the leaves and blowing out gardens, praying for rain in the next little while so I can fertilize, but only after I pick up sticks and sort through gardens to see what I may plant for annuals this season
Oh did I mention I need to print up wedding, menu cards, programs, seating cards.. Hmm sound a tad busy??? Welcome to the life of JANE

Victoria walking tour by Jane
Spring has spung in Victoria. As I walked along Denman St on my way back and forth from the hospital these were some sights I saw. I was impressed by the very old poppy and the size of it's leaf and old stock not to mention the seed pocket( In the photo's above)
